I remember being extremely hype for Deathloop but I wasn't in a position to play it at launch and it cooled off very hard and very fast so when I was I never made the effort The stories about getting most of the way through the run and then getting ganked by an expert Juliana also made me want to stay away but I imagine that's less of an issue now

I'm gonna play one big chunky JRPG this year! It's gonna be the year I figure them out properly! DQ11, Persona 4, or Tales of Berseria, these are the ones I'm eyeing most closely.

Play DQ11. Berseria is great story and combat but the world/level design is lacking. Persona 4 is pretty good too but my least favorite of the three.

I'm just gonna jump on the train and say especially if you don't usually play jrpgs, dragon quest 11 is the perfect one. It's very very standard but it does it well and the dungeons aren't too overly long or annoying to navigate.

Wish I was better at this game, and thus liked it better. I beat the heart once with the ironclad but it's just such a grueling and difficult experience for me that I gave up before succeeding with the other characters.
