I've been obsessed with Cyberpunk at the start of this year and it will absolutely be high on my next list. It's been incredibly fun.

I thought it was a good game even at launch, tbh. I do need to give it another play when the DLC hits. And it’s probably still the best “show off your new GPU” game

And so we come to #21 and my darlings, there are so few places left to hide. Every game remaining in contention has legitimate claims to being Game of the Year but for most of them it is not to be as we reveal the next game on your list. Will Vampire Survivors survive? Is it time to see signs of Signalis? Is Live-A-Live going to stay alive? These questions will be answered right now…Senerio posted:Definitely check this one out. TriffTshngo posted:The game almost nobody saw coming. Oxxidation posted:Decades ahead of its time. The Black Stones posted:I'm surprised I haven't seen more games try to rip it off. Alxprit posted:Its historical significance is an understated quality of its importance to games as a whole. YoshiOfYellow posted:A little variety chocolate box in game form. Palmtree Panic posted:Finally getting the praise & recognition it deserves. MrMidnight posted:Thank God we were able to finally play this game. 21. LIVE-A-LIVE (SquareEnix, 1994, New Entry) 108 points, listed 15 times, #1 2 times It only took 29 years but Live-A-Live has finally reached that most hallowed of awards, a countdown finish in your Game of the Year results and to become the oldest game to ever feature in your chart! And you know what that means, friends. I do believe we’ve just hit the top 20…

This has been quite the countdown, hasn’t it friends? We’ve had some laughs, we’ve had some shocks, we’ve had some joy but it is time to put that all behind us because this is the top 20. This is where poo poo gets real. Twenty games but only one Game of the Year. Will God of War: Ragnarok take the final step it couldn’t manage at The Game Awards?
