RimJim/RimZim This video has two guys narrating as the ingredients are put on but I cant catch all the words. Butter, ?(Green stuff), Sechuan, Tandoori sauces...etc... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXK7lQvBe-g Another site says this but its just referred to as "chutney" , not what kind.... quote:Big, round-shaped bread are first slathered over with butter, followed by a dash of chutney. A dollop of schezwan sauce comes in next. After this, some chopped veggies like cabbage, capsicum and onions, finely chopped and tossed in sauces and masalas are placed on the bread with the help of a hand or spoon. Soon after this, heaps of grated cheese is added on top of the bread followed by a generous amount of mayonnaise. Another slice of bread is used on top to cover the sandwich, but the sandwich is not complete as yet. Again, some melted butter is rubbed on top of this second slice of bread, followed by a good amount of chutney. Some flavoured mayonnaise, typically Tandoori, is then added on top of the bread and another layer of mixed vegetables. Everything is spread out nicely, before cheese is grated on top. Cheese is grated until no part of the sandwich is visible. This layer of sandwich is also covered with another slice of bread covered in chutney and butter. Finally, it is covered with more, you guessed it, more grated cheese, mayonnaise and oregano. The sandwich is then baked in oven for about 10 minutes and then cut into several small pieces. Mint and Coriander/Cilatro seem to be the main two green things in any Green Chutney recipe I have just seen looking around. Wee fucked around with this message at 13:36 on Jan 10, 2023 |

Finnish street food is pretty western general fare but in here they show muikut, basically whole small fishes that are breaded and fried and something you can get at markets and fairs and the like. I prefer makkaraperunat myself being someone who doesn't like fish much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRtF40z1gFw

Well that's just smelt. We do that here in Wisconsin. I've fished them myself. They run up rivers from the lake in spring and you go out at night with a square dip net, throw it in the river and then shine a light on the spot it went in to attract then wait and hoist the net to pull them out. When you get as much as you want you set up a table in the garage and you and the family each get a scissors or kitchen shears and snip their heads off and then they get deep fried right there outside in the garage or whatever. So that's not too wild
