 A local add has this box for 50 bucks. I decided to take on another Intercessor Killteam as my next project after enjoying the first one so much. I don’t know if this will be a completely new team or just an extension so that I have a bit more flexibility in my choices. Either way, I’m looking forward to it!

Played my first game (well one round, the shop got busy) of Underworlds yesterday, and I liked it a lot. Had godawful luck with the dice but looking even more forward to painting up Mollog's Mob, and possibly getting the Starblood Stalkers

I paint the strips individually, then attach them to a base. Then I paint the base. Basing warmaster miniatures is an arduous process because of the whole multiple strips on one base thing. Stuff that's a "single" mini, like the rat swarms and the doomwheel, are attached the base first like a normal miniature.

What's the deal with the Blooded kill team being out of stock for like two months now and going for $100+ on ebay? It wasn't a limited production run or anything right? Find it hard to believe that demand for it is so high that it's impossible to keep in stock, so I'm hoping it just ran into an unfortunate temporary production snag or something.

I'm new to 40k collecting relatively but it seems like Kill Team is in a slightly odd spot, they smashed out two big boxes in real quick succession back in Sep/October and then are just about teasing a new set soon but the single team releases of even the one from September still aren't out so people can't buy any of those on their own (or in the massive boxes since they sold out pretty much immediately). I was really expecting them to jump the Kasrkin to the front of the queue and release them with the rest of the new Guard stuff since they're a pretty great unit in the new Guard codex in 40k, regardless of how good they are in Kill Team but they aren't in the article for the first wave of releases alongside a few others. I assume there is a limit to their printing and they prioritise somewhat, so they've been balls to the wall with Votann, new Guard and the new World Eaters stuff + all the other stuff in the leadup to Xmas and making more of old KT squads goes on the backburner a little? I hope so anyway, I wanted to get a second set of the Blooded guys and the Gellarpox at some point but yeah they're out of stock everywhere in the UK. I guess this is how piles of shame are made since it makes people somewhat wanna jump the gun on buying stuff if it genuinely might become hard or expensive to get for months at a time.
