Song’s solid, a touch too long and meandering but I dig it overall. Vocals are an acquired taste but I don’t think they’re that out there, especially compared to like some of the sad incel noises on your average DSBM record or whatever. Was in the mood for some Rings of Saturn today, but their last 2 albums are off Spotify. Supposedly gonna be back later this month, but that was the first time I've been burned by music I like just disappearing off a service. I finally hopped on Spotify last year because my complicated automatic music....acquisition and plex method finally broke down haha.

That's what I got from it. It's good enough, just doesn't stand out to me among other releases in the past year--in some ways Chelsea Grin seem like they are the base other bands are building off of and doing interesting things with.

unearth rules. they played a ton of hardcore shows when i was growing up so bands like them, shadows fall, and god forbid helped branch me from hardcore to metal a bit and made me realize music wasn't just shattered realm ripoff bands all the way down. their first two albums will always be near and dear to me. they fell off tho when they started going more new american heavy metal and toured with bands like lamb of god and static x ripoff bands exclusively. their last two albums and this new song are sick tho. long live gothenburg melodic metalcore.
