Another discussion had me looking up if there were any EV chargers in the area. There's four, and they're all in flood zone 1. However, there's not a lot of Teslas; mostly just that one that was always parked at the fireworks tent.

To be fair, those things are prototypes. Tesla themselves probably doesn't even know how this thing actually gonna look when it gets released...checks notes this year? Yeah right... Yeah, as much as people love speculating that Tesla will find some loophole to avoid all crash regulations, this is almost certainly a function of the fact that the Cybertruck has at no point been near production ready. Just like it didn't have rearview mirrors until 3 years into development.

Ugh, now that you say that, it looks like an easy design for 3D CAD modeling. It's what I would do to simplify my life. From hearing stories about him firing everyone but engineers, it make sense to me that is what would end up being used for the final design!

Properly it's a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor and is actually crazy dangerous for humans to interact with! And because it's integral to the structure nobody is going to be able to use it for anything. The design also makes it very expensive to maintain. I feel like there's a metaphor for Carvana generally in there somewhere.
