Which book is that? I think I use to have it (or the 1988 edition of it) when I was a little kid but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

Dude, ix-nay on the oice-vay.

Do eagles have a sense of smell? Like, it looks like the bird is not grooming, but trying to share personal scents to make a family scent, like cats do.

My cockatiel always got her tongue involved when she was grooming me, you know, to separate my feathers for cleaning.

Or, I guess the eagle could just be doing that because it feels nice to touch the ones it loves.

Birds that eat dead stuff have excellent sense of smell, like vultures and other carrion birds. Birds that like live prey generally have a poor sense of smell. I've read that owls in particular can't smell for poo poo.

Also, why the gently caress does YouTube think I would enjoy something titled “the moment my cat was eaten by a coyote” that appears to be ring camera footage? And why can’t I mark it to hide videos like that?

Yes, YouTube, I watch videos about adorable animals or animals being jerks, but I seldom watch anything being killed since I find it just as upsetting now as I did as a kid.

Why does it look like its eye is flashing? Is that just a reflection of the sky for a split second as it's moving its eye or is it blinking its nictitating membrane or something?

All hail the queen!
Yeah it's just the sun glare, you can figure out where the sun is from the shadows and it makes sense when it flashes.

More importantly: Why am I not an eagle just soaring around a castle and instead I have to be a human with bills and responsibilities like a chump?
