Was looking for some Marcy Playground albums.....as I was interested in seeing what they did after their self-titled album. Found a lot of them....but they were packaged with a couple of Pavement albums that I already had....and almost every Nada Surf album as well. I only knew the song 'Popular'. But I've been finding a lot of stuff in their catalogue that I've liked a lot. Despite not being the best song from an album that's definitely not their best, White Trash by Zodiac Mindwarp has been stuck in my head all week, somehow! (Not that I'm complaining, as it doesn't sound bad IMO and I find the theme amusing enough, heh. Definitely a departure from their glam rock roots, though)

Seems like I've had Zodiac Mindwarp stuck in my head a lot, this month... This past week it's been the song Rock Savage for some reason - particularly the first minute. It's been so firmly stuck in my head the last few days or so that it's been continued to rotate through my brain in the dead of night, which isn't really helping my sleep schedule!

The one factoid I won't forget about that fire is that there was some door at the club for only visiting bands to use. So as the fire was spreading some security guard(s)? only let the band escape through that area while many were still trapped inside.
