I almost feel like they made a mistake by having her Skill's second use recharge while her first is being used, because it results in her effectively just being able to use it twice as much.

yes but you can press buttons with any character even dori or candace this game is not difficult even slightly candace does things so she can kill the enemies in the video game the difference between the top tier and the bottom tier is killing a hilichurl camp in 10 seconds vs 13 seconds

Weird Al Haithovic feels pretty fun to play in the trial at least. If I weren’t saving for Dehya I’d be tempted to burn a 50/50 pity. Alas I pulled Yaoyao in 18 rolls and she seems to be the far more useful Dendro of the two. I’m so excited to run her in a 3 electro team (or perhaps 2 electro and Kazuha). Also, it doesn’t look like she really needs a few constellations for once? C2 looks nice for energy but I think she’s actually usable out of the box unlike some 4*s.

Huh, game went up earlier than expected? Ok. Last year, tried to snipe a Yun Jin and got three 5 stars within 30 pulls. This year, tried to snipe a miracle Haith and got Yaoyao within 30 pulls. Desire sensor real :/ Edit: Got Skyward Atlas R4 from Yaoyao fates  Seven 5 star weapons on my account, and 4 of them are Skyward Atlas..!! You know, it's been said that refining 5 star weapons as a f2p player is stupid. But am I really gonna need 4 skyward atlas? I usually don't even use 1... got an R5 Widsith I never use, also... I bet if I R3d one of them I wouldn't even notice. EDIT:  PROTOTYPE ARANARA HAS BEEN ADDED TO TEAPOT

Already loving my shiny new Dendro baby. Level 50 1/1/1 and she's already pulling her weight. Her burst is also a lot nicer than I anticipated. https://i.imgur.com/MGOhqhL.mp4 Dendro nerd's trial was chaotic but fun. Gonna take some getting used to his rhythm. Hopefully I won't regret the 80-something wishes it took to hit pity. At least it was a 50/50 win...

Yaoyao is actually a little better than expected! Didn't realize that her radishes had a little bit of splash damage, and that they could be pulled by (at least) Sucrose and Kazuha. That makes her a super solid dendro applicator in both Anemo/Electro/Electro/Yaoyao teams, and also in Anemo/Electro/Hydro/Yaoyao hyperbloom teams were the Anemo is the primary hyperbloom trigger (using swirls). I though she was gonna be an 8/10 unit but in my mind it was a shaky 8. But no, she's actually a super solid unit. I can see her being used in tons of teams.

Alhaitham seems to be all about managing cooldowns/stacks to stay at his 3-mirror mode as long as possible and get tons of sword rain, but the actual mirror indicators are really hard to see when you're fighting stuff in melee range and covered in effects and blooms and damage numbers. Seems like a character you'll have to memorize the timings and do it by 'feel' for. Also I thought yaoyao's burst was a turret summoning thing but it's actually a really short duration hypermode that ends when she swaps out, that's kinda cool? Less useful than a full duration 3x dendro oz but I guess that would've been insanely OP

20 pulls get me an Alhaitham, a Yaoyao, a Yunjin, and zero Xinyans. Perfect. So last week I was knocking out the Elemental Specialist achievements, and I saw that it kept track the total number of times you've done each one. Freezing is clearly the easiest one on the list. I've got mine up over 1000. That's a pretty high number right there.

What are thoughts on Yaoyao? Apparently it also increased the initial damage from 3 to 4, though that obviously doesn't make up for the higher cost.

The interactive map on Hoyolab has a mode for Sumeru's underground areas now. The "underground" indicator for teleport waypoints also appeared on there before it showed up in-game, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come too.

His passive will give him a mirror when he hits with a CA or Plunge but only once every 12 seconds. It's just a tool to manage his infusion uptime. He actually wants to burst at 0 mirrors most of the time to keep high uptime since at 0 it will grant him 3 mirrors after use. A rotation for him looks something like: Burst NA Strings until a mirror falls off CA NA Strings Skill NA Strings His damage is loaded into his infused normals and the additional lasers shot from his mirrors which do more damage with more mirrors out. When his burst isn't up you basically just have Skill into CA to get to 3 mirrors and it is much less uptime so having a good battery like Nahida will be a big deal for him.
