I like the one where Kahn goes redneck and uses what looks like actual sword training to win 2x4 fights.

Season 4 or 5. The one where he gives Dale a massage.

Oh, I know, I saw that one. I was just speaking from my memory of watching the show way back when (and I've mentioned that I've missed out on a bunch of episodes when catching the show originally).

Like, before my rewatch, if I had been asked "Does Nancy cheat on Dale throughout the show with John Redcorn?" I would have said "Absolutely." I'm shocked to be wrong.

I did let Nancy and John Redcorn develop into their own characters. Before that it was the adultery joke with some hypocritical humor applied, like judging Hank for going into the porn section of the video store

Ahahahha I genuinely 'd when Bill gets hit by the shovel after telling Nancy that the hard hat is his armour, since his head is his most important tool. Like it's so stupid, and I love it.

Edit: I vote we unofficially use tildes to accentuate Hank's way of enunciating things in his weird but calm serious voice.

"See, Dale? You ~believed and achieved~."

I think that might be one of my favourite aspects of the whole show, when Hank/MJ does that. It's weirdly close to how Butthead talks, like it's perfectly in the middle of him and Tom Anderson.

There's a real inconsistency where Peggy launches a competent, successful heist to swap the executives Alamo beer for the tainted Mexican beer and force them to act, then in the very next episode Peggy literally gets brainwashed into the Jane cult overnight.

Peggy planned that heist carefully and got a little lucky, this being her specialty, but she viewed the company as her ally until Hank made her drink the bad beer. Once she decided they were her enemy, it was only a matter of time before she got her revenge. Jane And Jane just fell into her lap and she couldn't think her way out once she was settled into her mindset.

The PhD scammer guy and the Jane cult both knew Peggy was a mark, but the scammer made the mistake of revealing the grift to Peggy, which made Peggy determined.

I love this episode. Bobby’s character development with the horse and Peggy is just plane nice.

It also reminds me of my mom’s relationship with her mom. Grandma is a racist, righteous piece of poo poo missionary from South Africa who spent her whole life making GBS threads on my mom and inadvertently turning her into someone who loves her own kids a ton. There’s nothing my mom can do to make her mom smile at her and the wretch just refuses to notice it or die already.

They slap you with this in the gay rodeo episode. Like over and over saying his name and showing the truck that says Dale's Dead Bug. Probably not over and over but it feels like they make the joke a few times during it. It doesn't get tired.

A lot of shows get kind of inconsistent with outside family members due to actor availability and figuring out what their story even is, but I think Peggy is the only one with a relatively inconsistent family story.

They tried to tack it together as best they could though
