Hey a familiar dipshit popped up in local WA state politics here! Basically, state Republicans have decided their hot ticket item is the repealing police pursuit bill that was introduced a few years ago, more or less banning police pursuits unless they have proof of a committed crime. It's pretty well known pursuits kill a lot of people each year and the data shows in one year its gone down in the state. Police are mad they can't run over pedestrians anymore Anyway, Allie is trying to present this as bipartisan (it's not) and Manka Dhingra, the chair of the law committee, was right to not bring it to a vote. Future 42 is some conservative think tank that pumps money into dipshit podcasters and other weird things, so I guess they got themselves a cartoonist now.

China Daily Newton vs Western media by Luo Jie I love how stupid this is. Charlie Hebdo 400 billion euro to modernize the military. The next images go along the same theme of 'hardships' at work. In the past miners would die of silicosis Today, influencers die of silicone The end of hardships for gleaners...thanks to drones End of hardships in construction... thanks to cane-seats for the foremen. 4 anuses and a vagina. The end of hardships in porn: A never-ending rape "Thanks to my three anus grafts." End of hardships for bakers... using harpists to wake them up at 3 AM. System D for an ever-stronger army "We didn't torture for nothing." Hardships reinvent professional football. An end to hardships for caregivers... "Thanks to the geezer-spit." An end to hardships for concert-pianists... thanks to the piano-jack. Comfort is health "Once more 40 years on the dole, to avoid 40 years of bedsores."

To be clear the group's specifically targeting Washington state, and they've got remarkably little public info. I'm very curious who's funding them. Their privacy policy indicates they're planning to take donations and transfer donor contact lists to other groups, so it may just be an R proxy group. They're targeting broadly libertarian economic issues. edit: interesting, one of two "your story" articles on their site is from the perspective of a gay couple opposed to eminent domain. This may be a Koch network state proxy. edit 2 : ah, just needed to seach differently: https://www.pfortytwo.com/ Here's an article on the group, which appears to be a project of the conservative Washington Policy Center: https://www.bizjournals.com/seattle/news/2021/08/17/washington-policy-center-ceo-will-step-down.html I've not got a full read on their backing but it could be several different conservative groups. There's a strong overlap with staff from marketing firms, which explains some parts of their design. edit 3: ah, yep, part of the State Policy Network. Note that the group specifically has created a fake news outlet, Franklin News, to launder articles and positions into local and national press.
