Look I'm really just trying my best. But seriously if I could go back in time and pay for Shibwanko's abortion edit: It does make me wonder though, why abortion jokes are in such poor taste? I guess because I'm really pro-choice and live in a really pro-choice state, it's not seen as such a controversial or traumatic thing here? I mean, I know it can be. And I know that it's a right not afforded to like half the world, including people in my own country. But I'm just trying to dissect what makes the topic offensive or taboo; I get why using slurs is frowned upon, or say making jokes about sexual assault or what have you. Talking about normal good things while being sensitive towards slurs isn't a paradox its being a normal human being. It's also normal to strongly dislike people with strongly opposing hateful political beliefs. I think you're right, although the reaction makes sense to me because it's a lot easier to ignore the response and effects of the trauma caused by CTE since it usually happens off-camera.
