Disgraceful sex act videos involving a grave and a live trout, believed to be filmed by the same two Tasmanians, have sparked outrage across the state and are now at the centre of a police investigation.

The Mercury was sent footage of a man and woman fornicating on a Northern Midlands grave belonging to a famous Tasmanian artist who died in the 1980s.

The video, which is too graphic to be published, went viral throughout the state on social media platforms in the past 24 hours.

The concerned resident who sent the video said “I find this extremely disgusting, and I hope the news reaches the family of whose grave it is”.

The video depicts a woman, wearing just an unbuttoned orange shirt, lay down on her back on top of a grave at Pisa St Mark’s Anglican Cemetary at Cressy.

A male filming then approaches and begins to have intercourse with her.

“Well, there’s someone’s grave. It’s a grave babe,” the male says.

“We’re going to f--k on the grave, that’s where it’s at.”

The woman adds “to the souls of the faithfully departed, may they rest in peace”.

Other lines spoken by the pair are too graphic to report.

Investigations have revealed the grave was the burial place of David Hammond Chapman.

Mr Chapman was a Tasmanian artist, popular in his time, who was born in Ballarat in 1927. He died at Cressy on December 8, 1983.

Mr Chapman painted landscapes primarily. He was married to Beatrice Chapman, who passed away in 2018. The pair had three children together. It’s understood Beatrice was a popular volunteer at Longford’s historic Woolmers Estate.

A second video features a woman, believed to be the same woman from the grave video, lying on a boat at sea while a male uses a live trout to perform a sexual act on her.

“That’s how you catch a trout,” the man says in the footage.

Tasmania Police said they were investigating the video.

“Police are aware of a graphic video circulating involving two people and a fish,” a spokeswoman said.

“Police are investigating and following a specific line of enquiry.

“Police encourage anyone with the video to delete it immediately. Possessing or distributing the video would be an offence.”

Summary: GWU is changing their mascot from the Colonials and some people want them to be the Hippos because one time their school president got drunk and bought a hippo statue, making up a story about hippos once roaming the Potomac. The college does not want this because “George Washington Hippos” sounds loving insane but made up stupid buzzword reasons instead of saying that.
