I started a rewatch of the entire show from the beginning recently and man do the early seasons feel so weird now. When I watched the original opening sequence and Stan didn't crash his car into the flagpole at the end I was more surprised than I had any right to be.

I just watched the episode where Roger dates Dick and the argument that Haley and Feancine get into about steampunk vs pirates for Nerfer's bachelorette party is one of my favorite moments. Steampunk isn't future, its a different timeline, where technology advanced down a different path, YOU PIECE OF poo poo!!!! The delivery on "piece of poo poo" is perfect. Edit: It also continues what this show does where so much of it feels real. At least one of the writers has had that argument before.
