after taking classes on both I felt like Buddhism sort of supplants Hinduism (pre-Hindu Vedic religions to be accurate) the same way Marxism did with preindustrial/utopian socialism. not that it invalidates it just... is the more refined and relevant version of it. I haven't been to any courses or retreats since the panny I should get back to that
