My mom’s bathroom door no longer matches because of foundation shift and that is the look her black cat gives me whenever he barges in on me. Because how can he make sure I’m safely using the bathroom if he can’t check on me. He’s a very caring gentleman. Your cat is excellent at making faces.

Neighbor’s dog saw the other neighbor’s dogs come out, so after barking a few times to get their attention, then ran over and got his squeaky toy, trotted back, barked a couple times again, squeaked his toy and started throwing it around, periodically to stop to see off the other dogs were interested. He’s so lonely. He’s also tried to get me to come to his yard and play with his squeaky toy. He hasn’t understood that I can’t reach his toy over the fence.  I also saw what happens when another dog comes rushing up to the fence line when he barks at them. He tries to play. The other dog also wanted to play. It was a boxer. He’s been scaring the hell out of people walking their dogs on the trail behind us with his barking. But, yeah, he just wants to play. Bored has a new favorite as of 18:58 on Feb 4, 2023 |

I was doing a little vacuuming and tidying of my bedroom today, and one of the things that got adjusted was his bed. It's really just an old duvet of mine that I've folded up into a Henry-sized square, because he was very offended when I got a new duvet that didn't smell 'right'. While tidying, I nudged his bed a bit, so that instead of being a uniform 3 inches above the carpet, it was now maybe 4. Apparently this was a terrifying, dizzying height, so he just spent the last hour sighing sadly and sleeping beside it. I finally gave in and made him a 3 inch ramp, and he's back up on the summit of his duvet mountain.

They're much larger than Germans but also calmer and breed specifically to be family friendly.
