Outside sales, no other pack touches it. The Silver Pack is also pretty good. Most of the packs generally beat buying straight PLEX by about 20% value, but which pack is better depends a lot on how old your character is (which determines how valuable SP are to you). That said, sales are so common that it's probably best not to buy any of the packs other than the two I listed above unless you're getting a sale.

my personal advice would be to get one of the cheapo starter packs and then just buy omega/500 Plex a month, whichever happens to be cheaper atm, and then when black Friday comes they put the packs on 50% off and suddenly they are completely unbeatable value.

I don't think CCP cares but all the big null blocs (including gsf) have such low barriers of entry and have been that way for so long that it's pretty much impossible now mlm schemes in highsec are the new cool thing for badboys

Played Eve today. Pinged a corp fleet and ended up in provi with some wide eyed goons looking for a rumble. Instead we honked at the geese and had a guided tour from a paladin. 0 kills for 0 losses and a new relationship between goon and goon is by far my most successful fleet yet

Today I jumped a Minokawa into the middle of a Fortizar. Not top-middle. Not bottom-middle. Middle-middle. We also killed something and lost a few ships but the fax-on-fort action was definitely the highlight.

Is there a goon-recommended, go-to site that acts as a "baby steps" tutorial for someone whose interested in spinning up an Alpha account and playing a few hours each week? Or should I just install the game & fling myself into it willy-nilly?
