I went out and read some local news reporting. They absolutely went door-to-door, repeatedly. The press announcements are to cover all bases; IIRC one of them said "If you have friends or family in the affected areas, check on them."

Kind of want that guy that did that good video about HHH’s progression as a character to take a crack at that. drat shame he didn’t do more, there’s a goldmine of content out there for anyone wanting to go summarize that insanity for non perverts. Heck, I follow a guy that does that sort of thing for NASCAR stuff. Taken out of the context there are some interesting stores to be told there.

Dorf’s a hoot and a half if you have any interest in city builders or any sort of sim management game, but your stance is the one of a sane person. Super recommend giving the Steam version a go should you ever feel froggy.

That HHH video was called Wrestling Isn't Wrestling, and it's loving incredible—but the guy at the heart of it is credibly accused sex pest Max Landis, so it's one of those videos that feels a little gross to share now (not passing judgement on folks who do share it, we all make our own calls with this stuff, but that's where I'm at). I'm sure plenty of folks have taken their own crack at that sort of thing, but I've never seen another one that did it that well.
