I guess by saying they are going to attack, and then they are too weak to attack it makes it look like they failed…rather than just that the Russians have been slowly gaining momentum.

The fact that there's a whole thread for it is baffling and it seems like another one of those things that's extremely emotionally important if you live in America but totally irrelevant if you have any perspective at all, kind of like the superbowl.
