He started out as a normal* grad student Youtuber, making videos covering concepts and developments in his field. Then, once upon a time, he told stories from the labs he’s worked in. In return, viewers left comments with their own stories. He covered those in a second video, and from there it is a self‐perpetuating cycle. As far as I can tell he only reads stories from his own comments, not from Reddit or Stack Overflow or Twitter or whatever dying webforum the cool chemists hang out on. The format is kind of annoying, but at least he’s shilling for NordVPN and not making meth. *That is a lie. There are no normal grad students, chemists, or Youtubers.

His A10 series is my favorite thing to get people foaming at the mouth. The easiest way to get the ignorant riled up is say the A10 sucks at CAS and the M14 was a garbage rifle. Both things are scientificly and statistically true. Particularly the M14.

Ones I remember: Chapters: -Went AWOL to Canada in uniform after getting caught stealing credit cards from a resort outside of town -dealing weed -stealing from literally everyone (highlights: roommate and PX), trashing an on-post hotel, telling our SGM to go gently caress himself while on extra duty (heroic), pissing in his roommates’ locker, and involved somehow with whoever hit the 5-1 memorial -too many DUIs (last one being passed out in a McDonald’s drive-thru), getting caught exceeding pass mileage while we on whatever stupid recall happens up there Court martial: -put child porn on a communal porn drive in Iraq, got his rear end beat by the soldier that found it, was somehow still ongoing when I got there and when I left ~6mo later (I got to the company 2mo after they got back from Iraq, so there’s a time gap there that I have no idea why it exists).
