There were some really cool pearl clouds in sky when I left work yesterday, but I kept the camera on autofocus like a dumbass. At least every bad shot is a teaching moment, but it hurts a bit to not get great moments like this right the first time.

Surrounded by a train track on one side, hugged by a commuter road on the other, and a row of ugly and soulless newbuilds to its south. It’s under a landing flight path, there were a couple of groups of people with their long lenses and tripods and camo jacket/pants congregating and waiting.
