I don't watch war footage, or any other gore footage stuff, because I've seen enough hosed up poo poo to know it kills the soul. At the same time, I can't control what other people watch. If people are posting war porn? Then I'll be the first person to report it, and after that it's up to the mods to decide whether the content is too hosed or whatever. If your complaint is that there are people subtly pulling reverse psychology psyops on this thread and baiting people in to watch wargore under the guise of "don't look at twitter" or something then I don't really know what to tell you. Should saying "be careful on twitter, there's insta-playing gore videos going around" be punished? I don't know, but it's not right now. Brigading this thread really has nothing to do with it and going apeshit and thinking that this is some kind of circlejerk for snuff and making it your daily mission to tell everyone that is being an insane person.

Hi hello! Well this has been something. So there were several reports asking "why we were not moderating this thread". The simple fact of it is moderating on the phone is tedious and annoying as all hell. The forums aren't set up for that yet, and we can't moderate on the app due to security issues. I had to switch to my main computer to frankly deal with the insane amount of reports we got. Beyond that, we have real lives that we have to tend to. The internet is not our lives, despite what many of you may think. I've got things I do, I don't always log in during work, etc etc. Can't speak for anyone else but I assume it's the same thing. We are not hovering over threads 24/7 waiting for the next issue to crop up. This is something we do when we have time. Some have more than others. Secondly, why are you people biting on this? You can absolutely put someone on ignore, or just not even respond to their posts. It's true! It's a little known tactic the mods and admins don't want you to know, and 4 out of 5 internet janitors hate this one trick. Yeah, it sucks they're coming in, but it's really not that hard to not respond to their posts. It's like none of you have ever been on the internet. So they're saying something dumb and contrary to what you believe. So what? This isn't D&D. You're not obligated to a) take their posts in good faith or b) respond to them. It's clear we may need a couple more IKs for this thread. If you know of anyone who may be a good IK for this thread, please let myself or Kit know. We'll keep this thread closed for a bit to let everyone cool off and then go from there. Cheers!

There is a limit but it's very high, probably much higher than the number of 'slots' you see. "Edit Ignore List" is mostly so you can remove people from it, I think.
