Heart genuinely was doing a nice thing to help me out when I was looking at the giraffes and assumed the thread would be reopened within a couple hours without realising it may be closed for longer against her (rightfully made) assumption. There was a little annoyance on her part in creating the museum thread but I believe she realised it was impulsive and is doing reparations to fix it, and she's posting some museums in the thread now. In any case please don't harsh on her because her hellothisisherheart is in the right place and lol I chose the wrong day to be at the zoo .

I think if admins have a problem with a thread, they should probably just make a statement themselves instead of asking mods to do it as a shield, since that's exactly what caused the ADTRW mod to catch flak for doing what Fluffdaddy asked, last year or whenever it was Maybe the admins should stop viewing themselves as above the rest of the posters on the site and actually take in feedback. But somehow they're always absent except for when they get mad over someone making the millionth St James Island troll or when they're being thin-skinned about feedback in a feedback thread. I don't understand why they'll hem and haw over punishing people for posting links to snuff on Twitter or weird poo poo in a DeviantArt thread but they'll 360noscope people over imp zone icons or whatever weak poo poo happened in this very thread lol

Honestly I feel the most insecure and anxious about this site than I have in a long time. Probably worse than it was when Lowtax was obviously just making GBS threads the bed. Everything's just gone fuckin insane. This is PYF feedback, since PYF is a forum on SA and it's absurd to pretend posting in PYF is safe from this as opposed to posting in other subforums.

My general PYF-specific feedback: Rhino should be allowed to enjoy his vacation. I wish I were wandering around looking at giraffes instead of dealing with moving to a new apartment in a week. Also he's actually good at this, again, because he actually talks to us like we're all just people who share a ridiculous hobby (posting on these stupid forums) rather than like he's our babysitter or a mall cop. I don't think HelloIamYourHeart acted maliciously, but she definitely made a mistake I've seen far too many moderators, including ones I've thought pretty highly of, make. When you have even the small dubious amount of power that forums buttons confer, making jokes at the expense of the people you have power over, especially when those people are already angry, is just going to escalate whatever situation was happening rather than defuse it. Yes, every time. Yes, even if your joke was extremely funny. SPR's de-IKing shouldn't have happened but I'm not especially surprised that it did, given the tone of things around here the other night. Sagas was often a bit of a train wreck but usually the entertaining sort and not the poisoning-a-town-an-hour-from-where-I-grew-up sort and I hope it's allowed to be that again. All the rest of my thoughts aren't really PYF-related so beyond saying that I hope that new-QCS doesn't go the way I fear it will, I'll keep them to myself.
