You're kind of missing the psychological aspect of recycling too. People like to feel like they are contributing or doing something right, or helping or doing their bit. When someone recycles they can feel good about it or tell themselves that they are helping. It gives a feeling of control on an incontrollable thing. Big game hunting and outdoor activities are not only carbon neutral but carbon negative. While you are in the outdoors you are foraging which removes carbon from the environment. This is good. The average hunter removing carbon from the forest and stopping methane creators is arguably doing more than greta thunberg has ever done for the planet. We should all be hunting and foraging a large portion of our consumed foods in order to give the middle finger to mass production i.e. capitalist farming. Support your small farmers.
