joan jett is still touring, she's cool and all and i hope she's happy but how goddamn bored do you have to be of playing those same 3-4 songs that hit big in the early 80's there's worse jobs than doing something that makes others happy for 1.5-2 hours every other day while making a ton of money but i just think the fun would go out of performing the same set list after a few years, much less decades i might have to go watch some joan jett vids now tho

My buddy was talking about trying to explain the trump years to a foreign friend of his and how impossible that is because of how dense it was. On any given day you could realistically expect one real heater, a few B+ tweets, and probably like five weird things from the staff or whatever, and it got better when he was out doing stuff.

I didnt see any posts from u so assuming it was good i'm still here, been on the south island for two weeks and just took the ferry to wellington yesterday. doing some interviews on tuesday, then slowly driving back to auckland over 1.5 weeks before going back home. everything has been amazing, the scenery, the people, the wildlife, etc. everyone is so friendly and helpful and they hardly make fun of my dumb american accent at all. plus the weta and weka and kākā have kept the tramps entertaining as can be. i'm almost burned out on amazing scenery, if a waterfall isn't at least 20 m tall it hardly feels like it's worth pulling over for to take a picture, which is insane and thanks for your advice on planning the trip, i did not go "too far south" to invercargill and took the western coast route up 6 from Haast to Nelson instead of the east coast route and wished I could have spared a couple of more days to linger there along the way
