Maybe I'm more sensitive to it because I used to wear them but why after decades did character designers start giving Donatello glasses? Makes him seem like he's not a fighter.

I'm getting more Mitchells vs The Machines from that style than SpiderVerse. But I'm not complaining. Any de-Pixar-ification is good! (I don't mind Pixar... just want some things to freshen it up from time to time).

Wool isn't even anything super new in sci-fi storytelling. Just a fun story where the vertical traversing makes things interesting. But they didn't have to go for THAT low hanging of fruit.

It's not really funny. The jokes seemed very broad and early 2000s at best. This is the kinda thing I'd expect to have a white cover with red text. Really seems like a miss.
