My city has started the fish doorbell service again!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tb-nMWLYh5A https://visdeurbel.nl/ In the spring lots of fish start to migrate from one river, through the city canals, to another river, and they often have to wait for a long time at a lock that is usually closed. So they came up with the idea of an underwater livestream people can watch, and when you see fish swimming in front of the lock you can press the doorbell, and they will open the look so the fish can get through  also there's a button to take a picture, and the best fish pictures are shared on the page

Apparently this beluga is near a harbour in Norway, well outside the belugas natural range. When found, this beluga was wearing a harness that referenced St. Petersburg, fueling suspicions that it was a Russian spy. It seems that the whale was definitely trained by humans for some purpose, since it has been extremely friendly to humans since it arrived in Norway. Wild beluga are wary of humans and live nowhere near Norway. This guy loves humans and just wants to hang out with anyone he can find. Tl/Dr he's very habituated to humans and needs a safe home. Apparently Iceland is the likeliest spot for a longterm safe haven for this sweet friendly boy , :3

I have the opposite experience. I've never had inside cats but have had inside dogs nearly my entire life so I was unaware that cats got zoomies. Just never really thought about it with cats. Most animals probably get them to some degree, especially if they are an inside pet and don't get the same level of stimulation from the environment as one would outside. With cats, it can happen when they take a poo poo funny. Some kind of nerve thing, I think? Or to burn off energy, yeah. It doesn't take them long to wear themselves out*, they're really sprinters not distance runners. *: kittens have infinite energy, however.
