How do you feel about management interfaces with a USB connector that are just a USB/serial bridge? I ran into one of those on a HPE SAS expander, and it is kind of nice to get away with just a plain USB cable. Of course, this $3k box from 2020 only has USB mini, but it's only been 16 years since micro and 9 years since USB-C was introduced, so it's still relatively modern in this context.

You can use the old console cable or just a straight USB cable which then shows up as a USB serial converter in device manager. Which you need to check to find out which random COM port it has assigned. Also gently caress you Cisco for your seemingly random assignment of USB-A, mini, and micro, for these ports.

Pink Floyd in general is definitely dad rock, but Atom Heart Mother isn't. In my experience most people's exposure to Pink Floyd, even most fans, consists of three albums: Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. Maybe a couple of other singles too like Learning To Fly. Anything else they've done, especially the early weird poo poo? Nope.

I own at least two of these. No, not any of the remotely decent ones as it was my Dad's mustical tastes. Best thing in the pile is the Moody Blues, because it's got Melancholy Man on it. Today's Super Greats is a K-Tel production and is a super mediocre listing of what they could cheaply get the rights to.

On my car I had to buy a $20 Bluetooth to OBD adapter and a $10 app and I could code all those settings. I turned off the warning screen that made me wait 10 seconds before I could see out of the backup camera, for example. It’s often called “coding” on cars if you’re trying to google it.
