As long as the noise is turned off in residential areas, except at parking lot speeds, let them make some sound.

I like hearing mechanical sounds of machines working. I do not understand the need for sticking playing cards into bicycle spokes as an adult.

No. 6 posted:Why do adult humans need vroom vroom noises? Shameful. Now that I'm old and super lame I don't get why adults put loud poo poo on daily drivers like work trucks. Landscaping ones really stick out to my having done it and omg a loud exhaust while pulling a trailer to customers houses and in neighborhoods would give me so much anxiety. Doing it to your fun car hell yeah definitely.

i'm seriously confused behind this thought process on every level a: are you a hired driver meant to tow this like $500k+ boat and you've decided to rent a uhaul truck with a towing capacity a few tons under what you're towing? or b: is this your boat that costs $500k+ and you've decided to rent a uhaul truck with a towing capacity a few tons under what you're towing? neither idea makes sense in anyway. WHAT THE gently caress?!

Well if you can't pay your $500k boat loan on your $100k salary, it's clearly the fault of the democrat president in charge who forced the chud small business owner you worked for to lay you off/Bidenflation. Basic economics guys

Large Testicles posted:ok, that part i understand but beyond that If the boat is going to be stored in the water for its life and you don't have a towing truck, will get you there. It doesn't matter that you're running a total-loss evaporative transmission cooling system. If it lasts long enough to get to the launch, then whatever else happens is on UHaul.

Counterpoint, that guy is a hazard to everyone within 500ft of that abomination. I’m assuming that’s about how long it would take that trailer to come to a stop once it jackknifes the comically undersized tow vehicle and starts sliding.

Yeah if you buy the top tier uhaul insurance for like $30, whatever happens is their problem. Whatever happens to the boat on the other hand…….

And I pretty much guarantee any insurance policy he purchased (if he did at all) is instantly voided towing that monstrosity so he'd have a hell of a lawsuit on his hands

Harley performance-to-sound volume ratio is like 0.03 though because it's for dentists on the weekends who have a spare $35k but no money for safety gear, all those other cars posted made those noises because they actually are loving amazing performance machines and I don't think you need to make *that* much noise to get noticed in a 200mph rotary engine car that looks like this It just happens to make the noise it does because that's what the performance it requires causes. I don't go "wow look at that stupid exhaust on that 747 taking off" but I sure do feel that way about Harleys that take 45 seconds to go 200 meters up the road at full throttle. Which is why the Dodge thing is so dumb but also 100% on brand for its market.

Counterpoint, this is America and my choices, my FREEDOMS, do not affect anyone else. Consequences should not be my concern, and are definitely none of your drat business.

I think the kids say 'cope'? https://twitter.com/GaytonaUSA/status/1634697844958322688?t=EJFWh1AgobpxilBjz_q_5w&s=19 I feel like saying 'they look nothing alike' when the side profile is virtually identical is funny. It's OK to like a jazzed up Mazda... Except for the Fiat 124 because that poo poo looks worse than the Mazda version.

The Mazda will be way cheaper, more reliable and since so many people say it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than fast car slow, probably more fun to drive. YEAH BUT ITS NOT A FERREAREI
