I know they have been confirmed but what platform does UA even launch JDAMs from? And even then don’t you have to fly pretty high to drop them?

Russian AA has consistently been talked up and certainly there have been lots of aircraft losses

edit: are they like HARM in that you can pre-program it and strap it to a Mig or something

If it's delivered by plane, they might do toss bombing. About the ground launched option, idk.

I can't imagine the downward facing ERA on the thin skin on top of that BMP is going to be a lifextending addon. At least they won't have to suffer.

All that repair work will be gone if there's even a small gently caress up in the east and russia gets traction again to give it another go

gently caress putin and gently caress anyone who carries water for this regime for 'reasons'

Think of how relatively short these places were occupied, now remember how the east looks thx to the russian world and what people have to endure that are still under occupation.

Well, it makes exactly gently caress all difference from the protection side of things. Not enough armor behind it to matter at all.

lmao if anyone thinks ICC or any other tribunal will do anything of note. If anything happens to putin it will be internal or natural.

The ICC can only really do anything if putin is arrested. This isnt going to happen so any ruling is basically worthless except as justification for future sanctions.

I mean in russia once you get noticable enough to the regime, either for good or bad, being tragically poisoned by an umbrella accident, shooting yourself in the back 13 times and then cutting your own head off is treated as "another tragic suicide" by the investigating fsb officer.

Sitting in that BMP must do wonders for morale. Small, cramped and lacking any fire suppression sounds like a good time in a war zone.

It depends on what his collection actually consisted of, but before the war Soviet surplus armored vehicles were surprisingly cheap. Good/decent condition vehicles could be found for a few thousand dollars, which probably makes it more affordable overall than classic cars.
