The same Cat5 that wiped out Puerto Rico also hit the north of Cuba, but Cuba was back up and fully functional in something like 4 days A lot of value for shareholders was made in distributing hurricane aid to middle men and rent seekers here tho so who can say if it's good or bad

All I know is that every one of those defection story books is the same story about an infinitely competent guy who got tired of being taken advantage of by The State to do <totally ahistorical thing boomers are convinced the USSR or China did> but he lifted him up by his bootstraps and now he's rich off the proceeds of this book that appeared in every western recommended list overnight.
