My favorite part of a cup run is well…haha, there is so many. More than one. One cup that is. What I’m saying is the lightning have more than one cup and it’s hard to pick out just one cool thing. Your story is good too though

Pens/Rangers is a pretty wild rivalry right now. It's too bad a playoff series isn't likely because I want to avenge last year. But the Pens are gonna get destroyed by the Bruins or Canes and I'm not very confident the Rangers would beat the Devils either.

Something I never did until recently as a long time casual fan/recent “I’m watching hockey instead of basketball tonight” level fan was listening to hockey on the radio. I thought the idea was dumb. It’s too fast and intricate! No way it’s even an acceptable radio sport. Who could possibly pull it off? So about a week ago I took the plunge. I hit the vape. I got naked. I stepped into the shower. Dave Mishkin came with me and took me on a god drat beautiful journey. I couldn’t believe how well he could weave the narrative of the game while keeping me succinctly up to speed with everything happening. It’s absolutely incredible listening to him do his thing. Always nice when you’re proven wrong in a way that makes you appreciate a new aspect of something you’re already a fan of.

I used to turn the volume way down while watching Pens games on TV and put on Mike Lange's radio broadcast instead. It was usually off sync by a second or so but still worth it.

Every time Pierre came on TV I muted it and listened to literally anything else. Gotta thank Ottawa for taking that bullet for us and getting him out of broadcasting, even if it only lasted a short while.

I listen to games at work all the time, it's great.Certain crews have their own chemistry, it's fun to bounce around.

I used to stream the Avs radio broadcast when I could only watch on TV because of NHL.tv subscription blocking out the Avs at Sharks games, just watch the game on mute and listen to the radio stream. They did a great job, such that I could follow the flow of the game even when I would step away from the TV.
