When I want to relax, I read an essay by Engels. When I want something more serious, I read Corto Maltese.

The Hart in question was an early silent-movie era cowboy actor, for anyone who'd be interested

That third panel of the first comic just makes it. It's still funny if you remove it, but that panel included just makes it top tier.

Judging by ads, a new men's suit would be about $25-$30 back in 1941, or $600 in modern money.

How does Scarlet earn money anyway? Did her inventor dad leave her a trust fund? Does she rob banks?

RMMD has long been just Terry Beatty having characters enjoy things he likes. I miss the days when things actually happened sometimes in the strip but at least this little glimpse into his ideal fantasy world isn't particularly hurtful, disturbing, or horny.

In today's extended Blueberry: I'm sorry, I'm sorry - Death 13 was mentioned in the comic and I couldn't resist. I'm sorry, or Oh, I'm sure Geronimo and his men are going to be very lenient with you, Ma Clanton! It's not as if you masterminded raids in which your men were disguised as Apaches so as to place blame on th- oh., or Blueberry recruits Prescott in some spontaneous, aggressive re-decorating
