Yes, I am in complete agreement, and I have no idea why Nibtendo hasn't released a DLC pack of 3-5 boards for Mario Party Superstars, I would happily pay $20 for such content. The game has apparently sold like 9.3 million copies, what's the freaking excuse Nintendo?

Honestly, my switch is used almost exclusively for Kart, Party, Party Superstars and Mario Golf.

I don't like the city ones as much as the others but some of them are really good like Berlin, and people who've played Tour say the remaining city tracks are the best ones by a good margin.

What is the point of that entire area behind the freighter crash site in Prime? I made the dumb mistake of going in there before having the gravity suit, because it seemed like the place to go. and after a painful trek to the bottom just hit the dead end because I didn't have the GS. That place is a nightmare to get out of too. So I get the gravity suit, assume now is the time to go there and make my way through the whole thing, and it just pops me out to an elevator I can already get to. Seems like this huge pointless loop. I guess there is one path in there I can't take yet, maybe that leads somewhere important. Game is still a 10/10, but I forgot how much more painful the back tracking is in the latter half of the game. The first half is all smooth sailing, but in the back half there's a lot of "jfc it's really gonna make me go all the way over there again?!" I really hope Prime 4 draws heavily from Prime 1's approach, but with a lot of QOL stuff added. Just being able to fast travel between elevators or something would make a world of difference. Also maybe being able to like, scan future upgrades and mark them on the map or just put pins on the map.

The only Metroidvanias that don't have a lot of backtracking are ones that people criticize for being too linear. I don't think people know what they want out of this genre.

I think my biggest gripe with Prime remastered is that it isn't always clear where to go. For the 2D games, sure, I'll zoom all over the map, it's really easy to get everywhere. For this game, where I sometimes have to activate some timed mechanism, or do 3D platforming, it's a bit of a slog and there have been multiple times where I've backtracked through an area only to realize I needed to go somewhere else.

I guess I just need to slog further into the game a bit. I can see all these obvious things that are meant for traversing the game world in a faster way, but they never unlock. I beat a boss and think I'm going to get the thing that lets me get around easier, and it's instead a missile type unlock that I always forget to use.
