Agreed but she might be the only one that can. Sally has an entire lifetime of being raised as deferential to her parent and Ted is probably the number one target of pure disrespect. Ted loses before he starts and Sally defeats herself before she tries and presumably grandmother wants granddaughter to like her. It's a nice twist. Sally Forth may not appeal to me too often but it's always pretty good at what it does.
