Context is 200+ barrels of 'reservoir fluid' from an oil field site has leaked into Poole harbour. It says so in the article.

As for my opinion, it should be the same as any other sane person.

Hope that helps

e: I mistakenly thought it was a fracking site at first, due to the reservoir fluid, but it's an actual oil field that I didn't know existed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wytch_Farm

Just got an email from Octupus telling us they now own Bulb, and they're putting our direct debit up to about £180 a month. And unlike Bulb, we can't just go onto the website and manually lower it again.

I got the same email from them, and have been able to change the direct debit amount on the app, in the payment settings menu. I've not checked whether it's possible on the website though.

They're suggesting £188 a month for me, for a two bed flat where I do not use the heating. Makes me miss my old flat with a broken meter. I paid about £60 total in the 3 years I lived there.

You have to admit, F16 strikes would certainly deter begging!

I was thinking more that maybe some of the other beggars should be holding handwritten signs asking for weapons or armed intervention.

Worst case for them is that the government switches to strategically ignoring them.

It's not even true, Ukraine wants MiGs because their pilots would have to be trained from scratch on F16s, which is not ideal in the middle of a war. Which is why Poland etc are giving the Ukrainians their MiGs & getting Yank planes in exchange.

I bet the homeless guys would appreciate one though, you can get about $15 million for one second hand, or enough for a zone one flat.

tbf according to the article it seems that Exxon sold their stake in the projects to Savannah but changed the terms of the agreement without the government's knowledge or approval, so they've taken the assets as forfeit

0.000% of Communism has been built. Evil child-murdering billionaires still rule the world with a shit-eating grin. All he has managed to do is make himself *sad*.
