Three times in my life I’ve bought a record based entirely on a Rolling Stone review. This was one of them. The album is total loving garbage, but I bought it based on a gimmick single, plus a glowing RS review.

The other two were Daft Punk - Discovery and Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms. So, a zero, a 50, and a 100. Normally I’d be upset about that, but really…that’s what you would expect?

In all three cases it was the printed, paper version of the magazine, bought at a local book store. As God intended.
