We'll have to see how it does when people with actual builds get to play with it, but it looked very good just based on how much damage it was doing with Kael's patented not-a-build in the stream.

It comes paired with the L Valdore for the people dumb enough to want to try and make romulan ships work, let alone a temp ops escort. It looks substantially less good appearance wise too. I figured they'd have to do something like make it a cruiser, since making it an torp command escort was going to make it way too similar to the Norway they released last year. And that Valdore is giving me B5 Centauri vibes. I think that's cool

And they were likely trying to fix the bug that has ships popping up with InvalidEntityName whenbeing comissioned and got that. They're also extending the Voth and Red Alert events due to the bugs, so you might be able to squeeze in a little more meta-event progress.

I’ve been logging out by the transporter to make it even faster. If it’s already captured when I log in I just change to a lower population instance and it keeps me right there.

I was looking at the legendary akira article / advertisement: https://www.playstartrekonline.com/en/news/article/11541383 And noticed this detail, which I didn't pick up on before: +10 Engine Power, +5 Shield Power, +5 Auxiliary Power This sucker has no weapon power bonus. None. You do get the cruiser command weapon system efficiency thing but that's it. Huh.

To be fair torpedoes are rather mediocre if you build them "properly", that is canon-style with just one in front (and maybe a second in back) with maybe a tac skill. Problem is a full torpedo boat with all the assorted traits and such is kind of silly even now, yeah.
