Me: Do you remember three months ago when your wife assaulted you and threatened suicide and you ended up in inpatient care because you threatened to kill yourself?

Client: "Yeah."

Me: "Worst part of your life, right?

Chat GPT... Welcome to law school.

"We’ve created GPT-4, the latest milestone in OpenAI’s effort in scaling up deep learning. GPT-4 is a large multimodal model (accepting image and text inputs, emitting text outputs) that, while less capable than humans in many real-world scenarios, exhibits human-level performance on various professional and academic benchmarks. For example, it passes a simulated bar exam with a score around the top 10% of test takers; in contrast, GPT-3.5’s score was around the bottom 10%. We’ve spent 6 months iteratively aligning GPT-4 using lessons from our adversarial testing program as well as ChatGPT, resulting in our best-ever results (though far from perfect) on factuality, steerability, and refusing to go outside of guardrails."

Seems like this kind of technology would be most beneficial to small practices that don't have massive staff reserves to put towards any given task. Rather than removing the need for attorneys it seems like it would very slightly diminish the advantage that large firms would have over their smaller counterparts, at least in some circumstances.

May I be invited as well? If it's applicable to law students.

Yes, all part of my plan to have him embarrass himself in court, which would cause him to choke out his elderly girlfriend six months later and also steal all of his clients' trust account money.

edit: then get him picked up at the same bar - while on probation - where the same cops arrested him the last time, for violating his probation.
