  Actually mentioning that this spoilered one has dick and balls and hairy man rear end.  And with that strip of a lesbian watching male gay porn, we have in fact reached the end of what's available of Plica in English. I hope you've enjoyed this rather obscure look into what it could be like being a lesbian in the mid-2000s in Japan, together with Plica, Mari, Saki, Rui, Machiko and the rest! Gonna take a two day comic posting break, but I've already got something else lined up to post that I'm really excited about. Will start sharing that with you on Friday. Technically not a gay comic. Buster Wilde definitely has some charm to it. I appreciate how after the initial freakout in the first few strips everyone eventually comes around to, "oh yeah, the gay werewolf? He's harmless and just wants to party" and that's about the extent of it. Another artist might have made the whole thing into a metaphor about sexuality and the fear that keeps someone in the closet but here it's just, no, he's straight as a human and turns into a gay werewolf, you don't need to think about it any harder than that. He's not even especially horny or anything, he just wants to hang out with hot dudes and have a good time. And, thanks for posting Plica! It was neat seeing something written from a perspective far removed from my own. It's kind of funny how much, in contrast to Buster Wilde, it's about how insanely horny Plica is for women. I wonder if part of that comes from like...a difficulty in finding outlets. A lot of my lesbian friends do lament how hard it is to find anyone to hook up with, whereas my gay friends complain about how annoying it is dealing with an endless parade of horny dudes who want to bone down. Might make sense that a gay comic artist would tone it down whereas a lesbian comic artist would have it end up on the page Of course, this is entirely speculation since I don't know anything about either of their personal lives. Plica might really just have the heart of a dirty old man. Also, if Machiko was based on a real person then I sure hope she found someone eventually

Thanks for posting Plica, i really enjoyed it! And i never did track down the animation. The only person i found who likely has a copy or knows where to find it hadn't replied and it's probably a dead email at this point anyway.

Thank you for posting Plica! It was a cute look at life through someone else's eyes. I'm also enjoying Spacetrawler a lot. Along with that robot space trucker comic from a few pages ago I think I just like comics about people living on spaceships.
