Droids exist in a confusing limbo because they’re used as metaphors for contradictory things. Sometimes they represent soulless Capitalism automating our jobs away. Sometimes they’re fully sentient Roman era slaves. Sometimes they’re dogs who deserve kindness and a good boy but aren’t sentient enough to be people. C-3PO’s programming is so absolute he cannot break it even if Ewoks are about to eat his friends, Sometimes Artoo just does whatever the hell he wants. This new episode of Mandalorian introduced a new one where Droids are communism and thus bad.

The lighting is really strange in this clip, I assume it's because of their giant cgi wall tech trying and failing to pull of a naboo style city instead of a desert I don't really know who lizzo is but who cares. Rise of Skywalker was very bad but I prefer it to rogue one any day. Rogue one is super boring and the general concept of an "adult" star wars war film is very embarassing.
