I like Cody a lot, he seems like a good guy, but wrestling needed to get weird again and Cody was the one fated to make that happen. He did well in helping found AEW and delivering a bunch of weird promos and matches but when he left he refused the call and the universe had to reach out with a single rubber finger to correct course.
