Twitter is a tech company employing tech workers, I'm sure a bunch of them are themselves cryptobros who are on Musk's wavelength. And beyond that there probably are also twitter employees who actually care about twitter and aren't willing to just abandon it if they can fight to save it, even if it means dealing with the world's biggest rear end in a top hat as a boss.
