That Matt Mercer character was talking to Zelda about how they need Link and his sword and he sounded like a protagonist for that part. But then the last trailer he was all " arise my minons lets gently caress some poo poo up." We all assumed it was the Dorf speaking last time, I guess not now? Unless theres some betrayal poo poo going on.

Was the bit in the desert with all the sand sinkholes at Arbiter's Grounds? It looked kinda like that part of the desert, so we might be getting that as a dungeon again.

edit: nah, looking again it was the East Barrens. But Arbiter's Grounds might be the building that rose out of the sand

Those are clearly two different characters. The first one is obviously Chris Hackney doing his Dimitri Fireemblem voice.

Yeah, that's where Zelda lacks compared to e.g. Witcher3 or Skyrim to name some open world games I've played on Switch. The NPCs are cute but ultimately not a huge part of the game.

There's an underground city/base thing in that trailer and that's giving me hope that there's an underneath to explore as well. Hope it's not just a one-off location like that temple in BOTW.

Since so much of the map has already been set, I'm hoping they were able to come up with a much greater variety of things to see and do in the world instead of finding the same korok puzzles 30 times; if it turns out that you have to escort that wagon like a dozen times over the course of the game I'll be disappointed.

The NPCs in the trailer are interesting; there are bits where they're fighting alongside link, and there's that shot of Link standing with a whole bunch of them... I'm wondering if maybe instead of an endgame cutscene with four lasers, the endgame fight will be bolstered by all the NPCs you've helped.

Not that I think anybody here seriously thought that but I did see some handwringing elsewhere on only being able to do super-makeshift branch-rock stuff early on, despite all the suspiciously-bladed horns on all the enemies. So there's less than zero doubt about it now.
