I mean blu shenanigans are usually easy to setup, you really only need a few abilities, most of which are soloable, or only need the help of one other level 90. Plus you get a head start on the blu grind to 80. What is going to be the best level 80 blu powerlevelling? The one beach in thavnair with the crabs maybe?

I recently had Nightmare drop from doing EXs for catbook. Part of me is relieved I won't be wanting to collect tomes for it, part of me is slightly annoyed my cool rare horse is slightly less rare.

I'd actually say the EW raids aren't all that much easier, as the mechanics are still fairly challenging, but the fights just go faster which makes them less of a slog and makes mistakes less frequent and costly. Some people don't like the Rabanastre raids, but I do think those strike a good balance of being mechanically tough while not lasting forever.

I haven't run any of the older alliance raids in ages, but how long do they actually take? Euphrosyne still routinely takes 35+ minutes for me, based on food expiring before Menphina is pulled. It's a joke of a raid but that feels like it's on the long end looking back at it.
