It was season 3, sis. Raja’s win got leaked. This was basically a victory lap for the winner and it was fine. They had to kill some time before handing over the crown and moving on. I would have gagged so hard if they crowned Luxx, just so I could see the really angry racist lose their minds.

What I would love is that they have the Finale but then cut to a live feed for the winner reveal ala Survivor. However, that would require WoW to put in the work.

I mean. 1) She just kinda paints a RBF on, and 2) I'd also be pissed if I was told "youre eliminated, bye!" with no real fanfare 30 minutes before the end. It was kind of a dick move to spend half a year or whatever telling Luxx and Mistress "you could win 200k!" only to eliminate them with no lipsync. I'm not a fan of them either but come on now.

They needed to go into this thinking that they were going to win; that was the only way that they stood a chance of overcoming the odds and making it to the Top 2, and taking the crown. Give it their best shot, leave everything on the stage, etc. They also had to know that what happened was the likely outcome. I get feeling hurt, but you need to prepare for it. (I'd assume their age also came into play.)

I don’t get the praise for Luxx’s performance, and I generally like her. Only Anetra and Mistress knew the words to their numbers. Sasha’s was good enough (and was easily the most entertaining) so I didn’t really care that she flubbed at times. Mistress was low energy and I didn’t get any emotion even if she moved her mouth at the right time. Correct final two even in a vacuum, imho.

Drag Race España: A great start, lots of different personalities and looks so I can tell them apart (I find it harder with other iterations, like Sverige in the beginning). Sad to see the only big girl leave, but the hint at the end means she MIGHT be back. I hope so. She gave good intro; her evil telenovela villainess laugh was awesome!

Having a powerful and well-spoken trans women winning drag race and being given a larger platform feels so important with that’s going on in the world. The stars almost seemed to align with how things came together.

Sasha Colby was MEANT to be mahu. I was shocked one of the articles mentioned above had her saying she's never had facial feminization surgery. That face is sculpted, but soft! She looks like a 90's supermodel and it isn't just makeup; we saw her without makeup in certain scenes in RPDR and she still looked beautiful and soft.

Rumored All Stars cast: If this is true, I genuinely love the concept of "Contestants who we didn't get to see much of (aka early outs)", but the exception of Kandy Muse makes me assume a producer stunt. I'm not anti-that queen, but she was a finalist and Jaidynn Dior Fierce is right there!!!

AS6 had a lot of early outs (including the winner) and was pretty well received. I'm usually excited to see queens who left with a lot more to show. People argue about queens being robbed/carried anyway, so it's not like placement is that big a deal. Hell, AS1 had Tammie and Mimi and we were all better off for it.

Any regular All Stars season won't possibly be able to follow up an all-winners season, "early outs" is the type of niche theme they need as a selling point. This cast. THIS MOTHERFUCKING CAST. There are multiple queens on here who I thought, “man, I love them but they will probably never come back.” Jaymes, Naysha, Alexis, MKD, DARIENNE?!? Plus MBH, Heidi AND Jimbo?! This has the potential to be really good. I hope this doesn’t get hosed up.

I'm excited to see what Kahanna can bring, especially in a talent show. Second out in a lot of ways can be worse than first, and she was lip syncing both episodes (with admittedly incredible acrobatic ability). But having been a staple in Drag Race Live since its inception, I imagine she's built a ton of good will with the franchise. From the snippet of entrances we saw, it doesn't look like she's coming in shy.
