i have a notebook of python code i've written to load files to a staging database, any time we take on a new conversion we dedicate a full day to loading the files into the database through ssms, i spent like half a day loving around with pandas and pyodbc and turned it into 15 minutes of work

so actually I didn't smoke weed until my 30s after moving to a weed legal state after a loving terrible workday I was considering buying more beer, drove by a dispensary, and decided "gently caress it, I'll try it because I'm tired of spending money on alcohol" haven't looked back since, nothing wrong with drinking but it actually doesn't do much for stress for me, weed gives me joy and helps with things like when I'm stressing about things I shouldn't be also after smoking weed I was more active the day after, it fixed my sleep schedule, all I'm getting is that weed rules and is a great way of relaxing and bringing people together

Obvious posted:15 minutes + 3 hours 'run time' aka 'blunt time' the great thing about being in a union tech shop is that by contract i only need ~5.5 hours of billable work on my timesheet on any given day. the rest is free for admin time which i just put down as process improvements. python isn't officially part of our stack, so i can't get anything rolled out to our internal repository yet but i take full advantage of my boss's go-ahead to write and test whatever i want for my own use
