#Tradle #410 2/6 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 https://oec.world/en/tradle Smelled like West Africa, but we’ve done a couple of the countries I might otherwise have chosen already, and I was suspicious with no petroleum. Started with Tanzania, was surprised when Tradle pointed me inland and not that far.

A Bakers Cousin posted:you can click those little icons at the bottom to filter by catogory Yeah this is a legitimate and nonobvious aid to playing. You can trick yourself though by reading too much into the details. Like, it’s not actually a hint that Greece exports bananas. To find out where the goods are going, you have to look up the country’s OEC profile. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper right, or the one by the currently displayed country’s name. After finishing a puzzle, I used to look up my bad guesses because I wanted to know how wrong I was/in what way I was wrong, but I stopped doing that because it doesn’t take long to start recognizing previous bad guesses as the correct answer a few days later.

69 Body Problem posted:the directions are such bullshit I just did a little experiment and they seem to measure from centroid to centroid of the countries on web mercator projection. Might not be intuitive but i don't know what would be better. Would you want it to be the shortest distance between borders? That could be confusing for long countries and useless for countries with a lot of bordering neighbors. Capitol to capitol is obviously dumb. I can't think of a better way to do it tbh

it shouldn't have anything to do with geography. If you input a wrong answer it should attempt to show you how close your wrong answer's exports are to the correct answer's exports.

I check the numbers now, because even though Tradle’s code is Radium‐level and displays #NaN on some browsers and sometimes even assigns different numbers to the same puzzle, Megamissen’s numbers are at least consistent with the ones I get.
