Feels like it's setting up to deflate people if Mayu wins. But if she loses and they do want to build towards this match...ok Mercedes spent the last month beating the poo poo out of Mayu, making her look dumb and then she just wins the match. What makes this the biggest show in Stardom history? Is it the biggest venue? Or just a "biggest" in terms of big matches and stories? I haven't followed Stardom in ages but I'm always sucker for watching a big show (weeeellllll). I wish this was streaming in some easy-to-use app I could get on my TV.

Wikipedia says 17,000, K-1 claimed 17,823 in the old building for the '08 Grand Prix Finals. (Which is 100% guaranteed to be a worked number) But on top of that, I just looked at the card again when writing the weekly schedule for the Puroresu thread and whole poo poo is it stacked with great matches. 5 title matches. Himeka's retirement* match. Big Hash vs Syuri in only their 3rd singles meeting. KAIRI teaming with Natsupoi & Saori Anou to challenge for the Trios belts. Mercedés Mone vs Mayu. Tall Saya vs Mina in a match that has a chance of being either great or a trainwreck & close to zero percent chance of being dull. And then that main event. Giulia vs Tam has been built fantastically, basically since Giulia joined Stardom. Two amazing wrestlers with real star charisma. It's going to be off the wall. I look at this card on paper & I doubt I'll see a better show this year. Certainly of everything from this year to date, it's insanely loaded.

It's worth mentioning that the last Mina/Saya match was actually loving tremendous....until it suddenly wasn't at the very end. If they stick the landing this time (no pun intended) it should be a really good match.

That’d be a way cheaper way to watch it if you don’t care about waiting. Also, I just realized it’s on for me at 2am Sunday and not in 3 hours so who knows. Maybe I’ll ruin my Sunday and stay up late to watch it live if I decide to buy the show.

Mercades was also training with the TJPW roster a few days ago so I know she's a huge fan of wrestling and specifically Joshi and not just a mark for herself so great on her for standing her ground and proving her worth. She had some of the best NXT matches so I'm here for her becoming the modern era Alundra Blayze, I think she's going to end up with multiple Meltzer classics with girls like Mayu, Gulia, and Syuri
