i thought fish tank would either feel too mean or would just be more 'cringe' than anything, but i've watched a few clips and it is pretty funny, some of the dudes they picked have been so over the top and dramatic now that they're more settled in i guess and they seem like they're actually really enjoying themselves, it seems. i was worried that it would just be like big brother but with a bunch of awkward and developmentally disabled kids stuck in a house together for them to laugh at, but it's not that. the one that has the speech impediment just said 'what would you guys do if i bwoke evwyfing that gave you guys joy?' lol

i had to stop watching it because it was making me extremely depressed. conceptually, sam hyde bullies a capital-A Autistic girl and a sub-80 IQ andrew tate fan with a speech impediment is funny. in practice, it just made me feel the same thing I felt when I watched bum fights as a kid. it's extremely cruel. they can't even go outside. even prisoners get yard time.

Right now anyways everyone there seems to be having a good time and getting along, which is hilarious. Taking a bunch of terminally online zoomers, cutting them off from the internet and administering just the right amount of bullying to help them develop social skills completely by accident is a great bit.
